As a part of the VIII International Forum «ATOMEXPO 2016» programme JSC «Rusatom Overseas» will be hosting a round table discussion «Countries at the threshold of a new nuclear project: global challenges and effective solutions», which will take place on May 31st, 2016.
 
The primary goal of the round table talk is to share best practices among the major nuclear executives and exchange cutting edge experience and expertise related to nuclear power plant project implementation. The round table talk is devised as a platform for both, countries that are only embarking on the path of developing a national nuclear programme, and those who are well-versed in implementing successful projects in the sphere of atomic energy. Among the round table participants will be representatives of OECD Nuclear Energy Agency, Ministry of  Energy and Mining (Argentina),  National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA, Argentina), Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission (NAEC), Agencia Boliviana de Energia Nuclear (ABEN), Brazilian Association for Development of Nuclear Activities (ABDAN), Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC), McKinsey & Company, Pillsbury, WorleyParsons etc.
 
The round table talk will be comprised out of two sections: «Establishing nuclear infrastructure in the newcomer countries» and «Modern trends on the global nuclear technology market». Each section will be encompassing brief reports by the invited speakers. Rusatom Overseas envisions the round table talk to focus on the following key topics: Nuclear infrastructure and its key elements as a way to manage project risks; Human resources development as a part of the national nuclear programme; New energy solutions and their position in a highly competitive environment; NPP Projects implementation – key milestones and success factors.
 
The round table talk will take place on 13:00 -15:00, 31st May, 2016 in Conference Hall №3.
 
In addition, the business agenda of the ATOMEXPO 2016 forum includes more than 10 discussion platforms.
