The information about ROSATOM companies’ participation in the international project ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) will be extensively presented at the exhibition to be organized in the framework of the 25th Fusion Energy Conference (FEC 2014). The conference is organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and will be held on October 13-18, 2014 in St. Petersburg. Besides, the information about the history, current situation and prospects of Russia’s fusion energy research as well as Russia’s contribution to fusion energy will be provided.

ROSATOM’s companies contribute to the development of the International Project ITER by manufacturing and supplying high-technology equipment, technologies and components such as the diagnostic system for hydrogen emission spectroscopy, poloidal coil of the ITER magnetic system, components of the ITER vacuum chamber, joints of the blanket, neutron and reflectometry diagnostics as well as commutation equipment for the ITER power supply system. The exhibition will include displays of ROSATOM, the National Institute for Fusion Science (Japan) and the National Fusion Research Institute (South Korea).

The exposition of the International Organization ITER with participation of all states participating in the project is expected in the framework of the conference.

The 25th Fusion Energy Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (FEC 2014) is to be attended by about 900 delegates from 59 states. The event will be covered by about 50 Russian and foreign mass media.
